Norman Blanchard, 88 of Shediac, passed away on Thursday February 20, 2025 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Piusville, P.E.I., he was the son of the late Anthony and Lena (Gallant) Blanchard.
He is survived by four brothers: Léo (late Norma) of Tignish, P.E.I., Gerald (Myrna) Alberton, P.E.I., James (Sheila) of Summerside, P.E.I., and Clarence (Delores) of Piusville, P.E.I.; one sister, Theresa Doucette (Willie) of Charlottetown, P.E.I.; two sisters in-law: Linda Blanchard of Fortune Cove, P.E.I. and Eleanor Blanchard of Miramichi, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his wife, Anne Blanchard (2022); two brothers: Adrain and Tilman; one sister, Bernadette Doucette (late Clovie).
By request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at a later date this summer. In memory of Norman, a contribution to the St-Joseph cemetery, Shediac would be appreciated.
