Darrin Arseneau, 57, of Moncton, passed away peacefully with his children at his side on Tuesday March 4, 2025 at Hospice Albert House. Born in Waltham, MA, he was the son of the late Albert and Mary (Montgomery) Arseneau.

Darrin was a truck driver for Action Car and Truck Accessories for over 25 years, and in his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his children, working on home improvement projects, and relaxing in his backyard "paradise". He was known for being a ray of sunshine – always found the bright side in any situation, and would drop everything to help someone in need. Even during his long and difficult battle with cancer, he always managed to keep a cheerful attitude and a smile on his face.

He is survived by two loving children: Jeremy (Mac) and Alyssa (Andrew), both of Moncton; the mother of his children, Denise and her mother, Gerry; four brothers: Peter (Darlene), Jason (Lorna), Wayne (Debbie) of Souris, PE, and Albert "Al" (Daniella) of Germany; one sister, Debbie (Frank) of Smoky Lake, AB; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday March 8 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Friday from 6 to 9 pm only. The funeral service will be streamed live; to view the funeral, go to Darrin’s obituary on the Frenette Website. In memory of Darrin, a contribution to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
