It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carmelle Roy on February 2, 2025, at the age of 72. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Geneviève Guitar.
Carmelle was a loving mother, a caring grandmother and a much-loved sister and friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Annick Roy (Serge) and her son, Mathieu Roy (Michelle); her 5 grandchildren: Malika, Liam, Maëva, Kaëlle and Calix; her brothers and sisters: Édith, Jacqueline, Pauline (Alphé), Diane (Bobby), Armand (Roseline), all of Petit-Rocher, Jude (Anne) of Keisteadville as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
She is predeceased by her husband, Eugène Lagacé, her brother Roland and her sister Rose-Marie.
Carmelle's death leaves a great void in the hearts of her family and friends.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral.
Donations to the Fondation CHU Dumont (oncology) would be appreciated.
