It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane
Léger, 72, on Friday January 31, 2025 at the Faubourg du
Mascaret. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family after a short
courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Born in Moncton, Diane was the
daughter of the late Aimé and Yvonne (LeBlanc)
Langis.
Diane will be sadly missed by her loving husband Norbert
Léger. They married in 1976 and raised three kids. Having
had a hobby farm, she had a love for animals, taught ceramics, was an
avid gardener, loved blueberry picking and volunteered her time with
the Knights of Columbus.
Besides her husband, she leaves behind her three children:
Nadine (Luc Doiron), Daniel and Paul (Cézanne Porelle); two
grandchildren: Ryan and Céline; her two fur babies: Sasha
and Willow; two sisters: Gloria Statham (Eddy) and Pauline Landry
(Donald); one sister-in-law, May; one brother-in-law, Al; one
niece-in-law, Kendra; as well as many nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Aimé Jr;
sister, Jacqueline Dionne; and nephew, René
Langis.
