Jeannette Leger, 72, of Notre-Dame, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 22, 2025 at Albert House Hospice. Born in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Bertha (Caissie) LeBlanc.

Jeannette worked for numerous years as a waitress at the Lanterne, Le Paysan and Le Pelican. She had a kind and gentle soul and was always willing to give herself to others.

She is survived by two children: Natalie and Daniel; one grandson, Alex; her four legged friend, Moka; three sisters: Nancy LeBlanc (late Fernand), Rita LeBlanc (late Danny), and Florence LeBlanc; one sister-in-law, Mary LeBlanc; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Paul, and her brother, Albert.

The family will receive condolences at Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur R.C. Church Slumber Room, 3863 Route 115, Notre-Dame, from where the funeral will be celebrated on Monday January 27 at 3 pm. Visiting hours are Monday from 1:30 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be in parish cemetery. In memory of Jeannette, a contribution to Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be appreciated.
