Jean Boudreau, 82, passed away at the Villa Providence Shediac, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pointe-du-Chêne, she was the daughter of Joe and Mazie (Gallant) Leger.
Jean enjoyed playing cards, the machines at the bowling alley, traveling, spending time with her girls every Friday morning for breakfast, and also enjoyed her glass of wine on her porch.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Francis; her children, Christine (Steve) of Pointe-du-Chêne, Paul of Saint John, Heather of Moncton, and Francine of Pointe-du-Chêne, her brother Donald of Ontario, 10 grandchildren: Lauren, Haley, Cameron, Marc, Steven, Justin, Nicholas, Neisha, Natalie, and Amanda and 14 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her two infant twins: Marla and Marlo and her siblings: Edgar, Raymond, Richard, Gerald, Barbara, Pauline, and Betty.
As per her wishes, a celebration of Life will be held at the Pointe-du-Chêne Community Centre, 145 Pointe-du-Chêne Road on Monday, January 27 at 4 pm. In memory of Jean, a donation to the St-Joseph Vestiaire would be appreciated.
Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (506-532-3297).
