Virginia Dionne, 87, of Shediac, passed away on Thursday January 9, 2025, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Scoudouc, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Emma (Goguen) Dionne.

She is survived by her two daughters: Lisa Gould of Shediac and Sonia Gould of Montreal; one sister, Celenir Dionne (Richard) of Ottawa, ON; four brother: Prudent (Alice) of Pugwash, NS, Valmond (Betty) of Bedford, NS, Eugene (Denise) of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC, and Gerry (Suzanne) of Scoudouc; one sister in-law, Hélène Dionne of Moncton; three grandchildren: Jessie, Chelsea and Élisé, as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one sister, Murielle LeBlanc and three brothers: Normand, Daniel, and Alfred.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, January 16 at 3 pm. Visiting hours are Thursday from 1 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be at St-Jacques-le-Majeur cemetery in Scoudouc.

In memory of Virginia, a contribution to the St-Jacques-le-Majeur cemetery in Scoudouc would be appreciated.
