Gilles Daigle, 79, of Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday January 8, 2025 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Pointe-Sapin he was the son of the late Arthur and Eva (Mazerolle) Daigle.
Prior to his retirement, Gilles worked for the Canadian Coast Guard.
He is survived by five brothers: Guy (Marjolaine), Charles-Eugène (Michelle), Régis, Léonard (Heather), and Paul; three sisters: Raymonde (Judith), Léoline, and Carmella; special friend, Anna; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers: Ulysse, Jean-Noël, and Florant and one sister, Charline.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) on Sunday January 12 from 2 to 4 pm only. Interment will be in Frenette Columbarium, Shediac. In memory of Gilles, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
