Donald Cormier, 82, of Shemogue, passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday December 10, 2024. Born in Botsford Portage, he was the son of the late Georges and Léa (LeBlanc) Cormier.
He is survived by his wife, Alfreda; his son, Robby (Nancy) of Aldouane; two sisters: Dora (Late Robby Cullen) of Port Elgin and Aurella (Late Joseph Breau) of Port Colborne, ON; five brothers: Adrice (Karen) of London, ON, Hubert (Rosaline) of Cap-Pelé, Roméo (Alma) of Moncton, Yvon (Rose) of Shemogue, and Bernard (Rita) of Shemogue; four grandchildren: Yves (Samantha), Cory (Isabelle), Brock (Tayah-Lynn), and Parker; a great-granddaughter, Kaia, as well as a great-grandson, Olivier.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Léa Roche (2024) and a brother, Rhéal.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Thursday December 19 from 9:30 am to 12:30 am only. As per his wishes, there will be no funeral service. In memory of Donald, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society or to the family would be appreciated.
Cremation is under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Cap-Pelé (506-577-3297).
