Luc Bergeron, 68, of Cormier Village passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Born in Kedgwick, he was the son of Roger and Rachelle (Chassé) Bergeron.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lynne; his two children: Anike Bourque (Bristen) of Scoudouc and Parise Robichaud (Donald) of Shediac; his brothers and sisters: the late Réjean, Pierre (Louise) of Québec, Gérard (Charlene), Judy (Denis) and Aline (Luc) all of Edmundston, Louis (Anie) of Québec and Joyce of Grand Sault; his second Breton family: Gilbert Jr, the late Luc, Yves (Ginette), the late Jean-Marc and Manon (François); four grandchildren: Naomi, Caleb, Jakeb and Leah.

Luc deeply cherished his wife, Lynne, and his two daughters, Anike and Parise. As for his four grandchildren, they were his precious treasure. He spent hours rocking them and telling them stories when they were little. As they got older, he always loved teaching them new things.

Luc really enjoyed spending time in nature, where he felt closer to his Creator. He was in his element when he was logging, fishing for trout in the small streams of Kedgwick or when he was canoeing on his favorite river, the Restigouche.

Luc worked at the CN for 11 years. He was an entrepreneur and the founder of Able Canvas. He was a tutor, a counselor and a father to many, but most of all he was a wonderful husband, dad and grandpa! Luc had the heart of a shepherd; his love and devotion to others was genuine. He loved to talk about his Saviour and his greatest desire was that his loved ones knew Him too.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours are Thursday, December 12 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

In memory of Luc, a contribution to the Parkinson Canada and the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.

Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (506 532-3297).
