Roger Thibodeau, 84, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday December 3, 2024 at his residence. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Raymond and Melina (Gallant) Thibodeau.

Prior to his retirement, Roger worked over 25 years for the city of Moncton.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Audrey Martin; two daughters: Darlene Wilson (Robert) of Truro, NS, and Nancy Melanson (Paul) of Caissie Cape; four grandchildren: Sam, Max, Nathan, and Dyson; two sisters: Rita Cormier of Lowell, MA, and Alma Gauvin of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Anna, and one brother, René.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday December 9 at 2 pm. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 1 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be at Frenette Columbarium in Moncton. In memory of Roger, a contribution to the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
