Ronald Edward Coleman, 86, of Dieppe formerly of Moncton,
passed away on November 30, 2024 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Edward "Ned" and
Eleanor Jean (Thompson) Coleman.
Ronald worked for PPG for 30 years and in real-estate for 10
years. He was a Canadian Army reserve
veteran.
Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Hazel
(Biddington); his loving son, Darren (Geor-Jan) of Riverview; precious
granddaughter, Isabelle (Josh) of Oromocto; a sister, Carole LeBlanc
(Leandre) of Moncton; as well as his nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers:
Wayne and Robert.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude towards
the doctors, nurses and caregivers who provided wonderful care to Ron.
They are all Angels.
A special thank you to Dr. Bourgoin, Dr. Godin, Dr. Gallant,
all amazing nurses, our angels, and the support staff who gave special
care to Ron during his lengthy stay at the hospital. There are too
many to mention by name. We all became one big family.
By request, there will be no visitation and no funeral
service. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in
Dieppe. In memory of Ronald, a contribution to the Diabetes Canada or
the CHU Dumont Foundation (cardiology) would be appreciated. Funeral
arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
