Raymond Boudreau, 64, of Cap-Pelé, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday November 12, 2024, at Hospice SENB Albert House after a long battle with cancer. Born in Toronto, ON, he was the son of the late Norbert and Carmelite (Brown) Boudreau.

Raymond had a variety of interests that enriched his life. He loved watching classic sitcoms particularly "I love Lucy", "The Carol Burnett Show", and "The Beverly Hillbillies". He enjoyed people and people enjoyed him and was always ready for a good game of cribbage. He found solace and happiness outdoors especially on hot summer days. His profound knowledge of history, music, and film made him a captivating conversationalist and he was known for his clever one-liners that could brighten anyone’s day.

He is survived by his stepdaughter, Janika Mosher of Halifax; his brothers and sisters: Paulette Ouellette (Raymond) of Petit-Cap, Donald (Madeleine) of Cap-Pelé, Paul (Hélène) of Dieppe, and Michelle Boudreau (Maurice) of Petit-Cap; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family wishes to express sincere gratitude towards the entire team of caregivers, volunteers, family and friends for the wonderful care they provided Raymond and especially to his dear friends Diane and Dan.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday November 15 at 3 p.m. Visiting hours are Friday from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service. Interment will be in Cap-Pelé parish cemetery.

In memory of Raymond, a contribution to Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be appreciated.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac.
