It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Terry James Selmes on Sunday November 10, 2024 at the Villa Providence. Born in Essex, England he was the son of the late Albert and Kathleen (Cook) Selmes.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Annette (Richard) Selmes; his children: Amanda Bourque (Jacques), Kari Anne Selmes and Peter Selmes; grandchildren: Donovan, Richard, Alysa and Adian Selmes; one sister, Karen Moyer (Vern); and one brother, Barry Selmes (Nancy).
He was predeceased by his brother Martin.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Friday November 15 from 10 am to noon with a sharing of memories at 11:45. Interment will be at Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila cemetery, Cap-Pelé. In memory of Terry, a contribution to the Villa Providence (activities) or a local food bank would be appreciated.
