Eva Bourque, 82, of Shediac, passed away on Tuesday October 22, 2024 at the Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Shediac, she was the daughter of Émile and Exelda (LeBlanc) Doiron.

She was a devoted and exemplary wife, mother and grandmother. She was always concerned about the well-being of her family.

She loved walking, shopping, car rides and above all spending time with her precious family. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and encouraging them in sports or in realizing their dreams.

She was always careful to bring her whole family together to celebrate the holidays, creating warm and unforgettable moments. A dedicated organizer, she loved to prepare grand meals, where each dish was made with care and love, to bring her loved ones together around the table and share moments of happiness.

She was a strong woman with a gentle, kind and generous heart. Her values and traditions will live on in her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Aldéi; three children: Richard, Charline Bourque (Gilles LeBlanc), and Monique Landry (Gabriel) all of Shediac; a sister, Éola LeBlanc of Shediac; a brother, Auguste Doiron (Claudette) of Shediac; three grandchildren: Gabrielle, Cloé, and Patrick, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by six siblings: Amédée, Andréa, Alfred, Aldora, Jeanne, and Alice.

The family would like to thank Dr.Vanessa Pellerin and the care team for the quality of care provided during her hospital stay.

According to her wishes, there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on Friday October 25 at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be in the St-Joseph Cemetery in Shediac.

In memory of Eva, a contribution to the Canadien Cancer Society would be appreciated.
