Andrea Chappell, 83, of Moncton, passed away on Monday October 21, 2024 at Hospice SENB Albert House. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Laurie Richard and Estelle Melanson.

Prior to her retirement, Andrea worked for Air Canada.

She is survived by one daughter, Lori Hutchison, and two grandchildren: Kali Marchuk (Aubrey) and Cory Hutchison (Jill), all of Calgary, AB; one sister, Jeannette Melanson (Byrne) of Shediac; one special niece, Krista Richard, who took amazing care of Andrea for the last five years, along with several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Francis Chappell (1991); two brothers: Norm and Paul; and her stepfather, Blair Babineau.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude towards the doctors, nurses and supporting staff at Albert House for their exceptional care provided to Andrea.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. In memory of Andrea, a contribution to Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900).
