It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michel Landry on October 6, 2024, of Shediac, at the age of 69, unexpectedly and suddenly. Born in Robichaud, he was the son of Victorine Landry of Shediac and the late Antoine Landry (2017).
Michel was an avid hunter and fisherman and a lifelong Montreal Canadiens fan. He enjoyed playing darts, shooting pool and playing cards with his friends. He will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew him. Prior to his retirement, Michel worked as an electrician for 35 years.
Beloved husband and best friend of Susan for 47 years. Loving father of Melanie Landry (Crystal) of Calgary, AB and Mathieu Landry (Amanda) of London, ON. Dearly loved grandfather of Jayden, Bentley and Kennedy, whom he loved dearly. Loving brother of Gilles (Diane) of Grand-Barachois, Daniel (Denis) of Shediac, Thérèse Matheson (Dave) of Moncton, and Jeanette Aubé (Brian) of Riverview.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday October 11 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Thursday from 6 to 8 pm and Friday from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.
In memory of Michel, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada would be appreciated.
