Brenda Belliveau, 83, of Shediac passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Born in Springhill, NS, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lillean (Ash) Martin.

She served with the Royal Canadian Air Force, and she served with the Women Air Force Association, Ladies Auxillary Branch #33 Shediac, a volunteer with the Air Cadets 650 Vanier Squadron; she also worked for a number of years as a Commissionaire for the DSS and the LaSalle Candy Factory in Shediac. She was the matriarch mother to all the kids on Tipperary Street.

In her youth, she enjoyed baseball and fishing. Later on in life, she loved to play cards and darts at the Boishebert Club. She was an avid crossword and Trivia Pursuit player. She loved to watch Jeopardy and many more TV game shows.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Urbain; her children: Roderick (Kellie Seaman), Mark, Marcel, Christine and Jan Adrej Skopalik all of Shediac; two grandchildren: Casey Bourque (Esther) and Erin Nickum, a great grandchild, Lillean and a sister, Shirley of Sudbury ON.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Raymond, Clifford, Arnold, Brent, Wayne, and Gloria.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396, Main Street, Shediac on Sunday, September 1 from 7 pm to 9 pm. A chapel service will be held on Monday, September 2 at 11 am.

In memory of Brenda, a donation to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
