Eleanor Geldart, 56, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday August 27, 2024 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Betty (Mills) Ward.

Eleanor worked as a hostess and baker at Tim Horton’s and was involved in child care. She liked to do crafts and loved to host family celebrations. She was an active member of the Highfield Baptist Church Community.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Brent David Geldart; her two children: Bethany Geldart of Moncton and Ashley Crabb (Kyle) of Riverview; one sister, Rosemarie Butler of Moncton; two brothers: Colin Ward (Michelle) of Edmonton, AB, and Russell Ward (Melanie) of Toronto, ON; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Friday August 30 from 6 to 8 pm only. The funeral service will be celebrated at Highfield Baptist Church, 290 St. George Street, Moncton on Saturday, August 31 at 11 am. Interment will be at Fair Haven Cemetery in Moncton. In memory of Eleanor, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
