Our dear mother, Mrs. Wilma Losier, formerly of Tracadie, wife of the late Donat Losier, passed away at the age of 90 years and 7 months, on Saturday August 17, 2024 at the Villa du Repos in Moncton. Born in Caraquet, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Albina (Paulin) Lanteigne.

She is survived by her children: Paul (Claudette) of Tracadie, Pauline (Adam) of Whistler, BC, and André (Josée) of Dieppe. Also mourning are her grandchildren whom she loved: Lisa Losier (Michael) of Tracadie, Amy Francis Gray (Ellis) of Vancouver, BC, Dax Francis of Whistler, BC, Justin and Patrick Losier of Dieppe; two sisters and one brother: Arméline Hébert (late Rémi) of Caraquet, Claudette Marion (late Tom) of Manitouwadge, ON, and Alyre Lanteigne of Alberta; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Jeanette Losier (Roland), Lise Gagné Losier (late Arisma), Jean-Eudes Losier (Yvonne) all of Tracadie, Thérèse Gallien (late Conrad Lanteigne) of St-Bruno, QC, and Emilien Losier (late Huguette) of Edmundston; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Wilma joined her beloved husband, Donat Losier (August 16, 2012); her sisters: Gertrude and Alfredine; and her brother, Conrad.

A teacher by profession, our mother was an exceptional woman and grandmother who will never be forgotten.

We would like to thank the staff at Villa du Repos for the excellent care provided to our dear mother.

In accordance to her last wishes, there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph et St-Jean-Baptiste church, 3585 Principale Street, Tracadie-Sheila, on Friday September 13 à 2 pm. In memory of Wilma, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
