Andréa Bourque, 92, of Castel Des Flots Bleus, Cap-Pelé formerly Trois-Ruisseaux, passed away on Saturday August 3, 2024, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Barachois, she was the daughter of the Edouard "Eddy" and Edith (Goguen) Gaudet.
She is survived by a son, Moril (Lynn) of Trois-Ruisseaux; four step-daughters: Lorraine Ouellette (late Henri) and Marie-Jeanne Gallant (Alphonse) all of Cap-Pelé, Annette LeBlanc (Elphège) of Petit-Cap, and Geneva Léger (late Alonzo) of Bas-Cap-Pelé; three step-sons: Jean (late Elsie) and Émile (Trudy) all of Cap-Pelé, and Roméo (Pauline) of Bas-Cap-Pelé; 29 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Aimé (2000); two stepdaughters: Maria Léger and Léontine Cormier; two stepsons: Clarence and Ronald; two sisters: Maria Léger and Aline Bourque; a brother, Lionel; a haft-brother, Gérard; two grandsons: Donald Ouellette and Roméo Bourque Jr.
There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R.C. Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé pm Wednesday August 21 at 4 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Andréa, a contribution to Cap-Pelé Knights of Columbus Lunch Box would be appreciated.
