Camille "Sally" Vautour, of Moncton, passed away peacefully with his family on August 4, 2024 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late François and Anna (Léger) Vautour.

Camille was a plasterer by trade. He was a perfectionist and took great pride in his work. Camille was a devout family man, loyal to all he loved and very dependable.  All who knew him would know he was an armchair politician, but his main aspiration was to be judge AND jury.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosanna Gaudet; four children: Janice Arsenault (Jim) of Scoudouc, Monique Roy (Maurice) and Ginette Kerwin (Gard) both of Grande-Digue, and Terrence "Terry" (Darlene) of Gibbons, AB; nine grandchildren: Vincent (Brigitte), Céline (Danny), Mathieu (Mario), Jérémie (Katie), Julie, Jacques(Jenna), Renelle, Brianna, and Zacharie (Karine); five great-grandchildren: Abigail, Audrey, Tony, Conor, and Cianna; one sister, Viola Dupuis (late Eugène) of Moncton;  two sisters-in-law: Victorine Vautour (late Lionel) and Jeannine Vautour (late Gérard); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter, Josette Bellefleur (Jean Marc); three sisters: Célestina, Thérèse, and Maria; four brothers: Lionel, Ernest, Gérard and Cléophas "Cass".

"Your strength and love built our world, rest in peace knowing that you are in our hearts and loved for ever".

The family wishes to recognize and thank the Shediac paramedics and EMT teams as well as the nurses and doctors on the 4100 and the Palliative Care units of The Moncton Hospital for their wonderful caring support of Camille and the family.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday August 9 at 3:30 pm. Visiting hours are Friday from 1:30 pm until time of funeral service. Interment will be in Grande-Digue parish cemetery. In memory of Camille, a contribution to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
