Joseph Somers, 88, of Steeves Mountain, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 31, 2024 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Charlottetown, P.E.I, he was the son of the late Mary Henrietta Somers.

He is survived by his children: Kathy Wood (Alex), Ken Somers (Lynetta), Tim Kuttschrutter (Maria) and Colin Somers (Terri); as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation and no funeral service. A graveside service will take place at the Catholic Cemetery in Charlottetown, PEI, on Wednesday, August 7 at 1:00pm

In memory of Joseph, a contribution to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
