It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald "Ron" Babineau, 64, of Moncton, on Saturday July 20, 2024, at his residence. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Tilmon and Arthemise "Bernice" (LeBlanc) Babineau.
Prior to his retirement, Ron had a lengthy career for over 35 years with CN. He was an avid outdoorsmen who loved to spend time hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed camping with his family and friends.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Pauline (Gautreau); two daughters: Natalie LeBlanc (Marc) and Charline Amero (Philip); four grandchildren: Dominic, Jayla, Emma, and Amelia; his beloved cat, Abby; mother-in-law, Mathilda Gautreau; as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, nieces, cousins and friends.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday July 30 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Monday from 6 to 9 pm only. Interment will be at Frenette Columbarium, Moncton.
