It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernice Robichaud, 70, of Haute-Aboujagane, on Saturday June 29, 2024 at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Scoudouc, she was the daughter of the late Léo and Fénéla (Fougère) Gaudet.
Bernice was proud of her family and always put them ahead of herself. She was a caring, kind, sensitive, and outgoing person. She could be often found at the local Tim Hortons.
She will be missed by her loving husband of 55 years, Joseph; two daughters: Lise (Luc) and Monique (Bryan); two sons: René (Dorine) and Roger (Joanne); three sisters: Jeanne Cormier (Léo-Paul), Alice Brun (Clarence), and Rose-Marie Gallant (Paul); eight brothers: Normand (Florence), Léonce (Annette), Léo-Paul (Claudette), Émile (Carmella), Arthur (Doris), Bernard (Bernice), Eugène (Gail), and Edouard; five grandchildren; Shane, Nadia, Mathieu, Joël, and Rémi, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her step-grandson, Denis.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday July 5 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Friday from 9:30 am to 10:45 am.
In memory of Bernice, a donation can be made to the family or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
