He worked for 27 years with Québec North Shore and Labrador Railway in Sept-Iles. After returning to Moncton, Roger worked in sales. He enjoyed spending time with family at their cottage in Cocagne. He also loved listening to all kinds of music and watching sports, especially going to Moncton Wildcats hockey games. Roger was a dedicated active member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1310 and 4th degree member and Color Guard of the Msgr. Ray MacDonald Assembly.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Esther Cleveland-Berubé; two daughters: Noreen Berubé (Charlie Ouellet) of Moncton and Lynn Berubé (Danny Gallant) of Irishtown; as well his nieces, nephews and three godchildren.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his step-mother, Avilla McAllister, and four siblings: Paul, Bernice, infant Noreen, and Violette.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Monday July 1st from 6 to 8 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 43 Botsford Street, Moncton on Tuesday July 2 at 11 am. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
