Stella Chevarie, 83, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 23, 2024 at the Villa du Repos. Born in Saint-Louis, she was the daughter of the late Maxime and Roseline (Robichaud) Babineau.

Stella will be sadly missed by Marcel Chevarie; three children: Jocelyn, Jeanine (Stephen) and Claude (Karen); seven grandchildren: Alyssa, Samantha, Chantal, Brad, Michael, Jack, and Jake; two great-grandchildren: Avery and Sloane; three sisters: Gloria Blanchard (Raymond), Julia Macdonald (Sanford), and Noella Aylett (Ted); four brothers: Esmond, Maurice, Lorenzo, and Mario (Diane); as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Paul; and two brothers: Bernard and Dominic.

A private family service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Friday June 28 at 3:30 pm. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Stella, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
