Angèle Mouland, 85, of Moncton, passed away on
Monday June 17, 2024 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Dupuis Corner,
she was the daughter of the late Edvard and Edith (LeBlanc)
Landry.
Angèle was a retired teacher and had been a member
of the Moncton Lionettes. She was a woman of great faith and had
enjoyed spending time with her husband at their cottage in
Sainte-Marie.
She is survived by two children: Lynn and Guy; one sister,
Emerise (late Henry); two brothers: Emery (Lorraine) and Charles Yvon
(late Lisa); seven sisters-in-law: Rita (late Louis), Bernice, Aline
(late Ferdinand), Nancy (late Arsène), Phyllis (late
Harold), Marilyn (Bruce), and Karen (late Bert); as well as several
nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
William «Bill» (2016); two sisters: Archangela
(Philippe) and Marie (Fernand); seven brothers: Alfred, Joseph
(Berthe), Louis, Ferdinand, Edvard (Gloria), Arsène, and
infant André; one step-sister, Céleste (Alcide);
four step-brothers: Aurèle (Leona), Leonel (Anna),
Napoléon (Devina), and Dismas (Eva).
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) from where
the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday June 21 at 3 pm.
Visiting hours are Friday from 1 pm. In memory of Angèle, a
contribution to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation would
be appreciated.
