Ronald "Ron" Caissie, 70, of Grand-Barachois, passed away at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday June 16, 2024. Born in Grand-Barachois, he was the son of Lorraine (Gaudet) Caissie of Shediac and the late Régis Caissie.
Ron worked for Westinghouse for many years.
Beside his mother, he is survived by his two children: Natasha Cormier (Mark) and Jean-Luc (Chantal) all of Grand-Barachois; one sister, Gisèle Arsenault of Grande-Digue; former wife, Cécile Frenette Caissie and extended Frenette family; five grandchildren: Vanessa, Adèle, Maxime, Malec, and Élodie; his beloved dog, Missy, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Thursday June 20 from 6 pm to 8 pm. A private interment will take place at a later date. In memory of Ron, a donation to the "Pépère Boîte À Lunch" would be appreciated.
