Roger Thibodeau, 62, of Cormier-Village, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday June 13 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, he was the son of Émile of Shediac and the late Huberte (Cormier) Thibodeau.

Besides his father, he is survived by a special friend, Diane Léger of Cormier-Village; his children: Rebecca Thibodeau (Kevin Hébert) of Cocagne, Sébastien Thibodeau (Karilyn) of Cormier-Village and a stepson, Jérémie Léger (Anik LeBlanc) of Haute-Aboujagane; his brothers and sisters: Rosella Jacob (Albert) of Grand-Barachois, Denise Arsenault (Léo-Paul) of Cormier-Village, Émilia Richard (Emery) of Saint-André-LeBlanc, Omer (Jocelyne) of Shediac Bridge, and Eugène of Cormier-Village; a brother-in-law, Léon Ouellet of Beaumont; three grandchildren: Alexie, Brielle, and Ariane, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his mother, he was predeceased by a sister, Alma Thibodeau.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Wednesday June 26 from 1 pm to 2:45 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacré-Coeur R.C. Church, 944 route 933, Haute-Aboujagane at 3:30 pm.

In memory of Roger, a donation to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
