Maurice Cormier, 59, of Shediac, passed away at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 13, 2024. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Mary (Arsenault) Cormier of Shediac and the late Joseph Cormier.
Beside his mother, he is survived by his spouse, Rita, née LeBlanc; his daughter, Megan Parker (Chris LeBlanc) of Shediac; his sister, Juanita Cormier of Dieppe; his two grandchildren: Jasmine and Bryson.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac from where a chapel service will be held on Tuesday, June 18 at 2 pm. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 17 from 7 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday June 18 from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm. Interment will be in the St-Jacques-Le-Majeur cemetery in Scoudouc.
In memory of Maurice, a donation to the Fondation Dumont Foundation, Oncology, would be appreciated.
