Léo Breau, 70, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday June 13, 2024 at Albert House of Hospice SENB. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Jim and Florence (LeBlanc) Breau.

Léo’s career highlights include working in quality control at E.P. Melanson, as a brakeman for CN, and as an oyster fisherman.

He is survived by his two sons: Sébastien (Rachel Lanteigne) and Julien (Emily Jonah); his grandson, Olivier; one sister, Murielle; three brothers: Ernest (Janita), Isaac (Louise) and Paul (Joanne); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his partner, Patsy Arsenault.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday June 20 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Thursday from 9:30 am until time of funeral. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Léo, a contribution to Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be appreciated.
