Florence Lutes Manderson, 85, of Pointe-du-Chêne, passed away on Friday May 31, 2024. Her final moments were spent peacefully surrounded by her family and the caring staff of the Briarlea Nursing Home. Born in Pointe-du-Chêne, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mae Lutes.

She will be missed greatly by her four children: Gary, Mary Kate, Caroline, and Luke; four grandchildren: Sophie and Jonathan Goguen, Michael, and Thomas Manderson; one great-granddaughter, Paisley; one sister, Velda Lutes; her niece and nephew, Bobbie Jo and Jon Lutes, as well as her favorite shopping buddy, Elaine Henderson.

Known for her sweet, friendly, chatty personality and for her love of the shore and wharf.

"The world would be a much better place if everyone was half as selfless as she was.  Hope they have the best beaches with the rarest sea glass up there for you." We will love her forever and miss her everyday.

As per Florence’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service at the funeral centre. A graveside service will be held on Friday June 7 at the Greenwood cemetery in Shediac at 3 pm. In memory of Florence, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
