Carmel Boudreau, 84, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday May 26, 2024 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Robertville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Léandre and Delcina (Doucet) Bryar.
For many years, Carmel and Yvon enjoyed spending their winters at the golf course in Myrtle Beach. Carmel was passionate about sports, especially golf. She was a proud and devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Gilles (Traci); a daughter in-law, Chantal; one sister, Rose-Marie Marcus (Dave); one brother, Louis Boudreau (Huguette); four grandchildren: Véronique, Chloé, Noah and Ella; one great-grandson, Hugo; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her step-father, Wilfred Boudreau; her husband, Yvon; her son, Marcel; and two sisters: Monique and Constance.
There will be no visitation at the funeral centre. The funeral service will be celebrated on Friday May 31 at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) at 11 am. Interment will be in Frenette Columbarium, Moncton. In memory of Carmel, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
