Yolande Boudreau, 86, of Shediac N.B., passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Maison Albert House on Thursday, May 23, 2024. Born in Boudreau-Office, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Germaine (Després) Boudreau.

Yolande was a school teacher for 35 years in Shediac and in the Scoudouc area. When she retired, she enjoyed travelling around the World. She set foot on every continent except for Antarctica. Mom also loved going for long walks. She especially enjoyed talking to people she ran into along the way. Mom was an avid golfer who was a member of Pine Needles Golf and Country Club for over 30 years.

She is survived by her children: Jocelyne Gagnon (Conrad) and Suzanne Boudreau of Grand-Barachois, Gisèle Collette (Guy), Joanne Boudreau (Aurele Cassidy), and Michel Boudreau (Lisa Lirette) all of Shediac; her grandchildren: Mathieu (Milika), Joël (Kim), Justin (Josée), and Émilie (Zachari); her great-grand-children: Maeve, Loïc, and Noah; her brothers: Clorice and Louis (Tilla); her sisters: Yvette Cormier (Évariste), Sr Juliette Boudreau, and Imelda Cormier; her sister-in-law, Léa Boudreau, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters: Yvonne LeBlanc, Thérèse Leger, and Anita Hébert; two brothers: Bernard Boudreau and Sylvestre.

The family would like to thank the staff at Maison Albert House and the staff of Department 3F at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont UHC for the amazing care given to our mother.

As per Yolande’s wishes, there will be no visitations at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 11:00 am at St-Joseph R.C. Church, Shediac. In memory of Yolande, a contribution to the Maison Albert House in Moncton would be greatly appreciated by the family.
