Trefflé Thébeau, 81, of Moncton, passed
away on Wednesday May 15, 2024 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in
Saint-Ignace, he was the son of the late Camille and Marie Dina
(Comeau) Thébeau.
Prior to his retirement, Trefflé was a diesel
mechanic for SLH Transport.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jeannette (Cormier);
three children: Tina (Thébeau) Doyon (Yannick) of
Fredericton, Monique Thébeau and Ronald Thébeau,
both of Moncton; nine grandchildren: Alexandra, Ashley, Trystan,
Gabriel, Kristine, Allison, Cameron, Mackenzie, and Madison; seven
sisters: Camilla Johnson (Donald), Alma LeBlanc (Léo),
Émerise Chevarie (Émile), Adrienne Arseneault
(Josephat), and Lyne Johnson (Donald), all of Saint-Ignace, Rose-Marie
Bowes (Mike) of Quispamsis, and Dina Richard of Saint-Louis; three
brothers: Livain (Patricia) of Renauds Mills, Antoine of Saint-Ignace,
and Adrien (Raymonde) of Saint-Louis; as well as many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one infant
brother, Daniel.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral
service will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix church, 87 Murphy
Avenue, Moncton on Saturday May 25 at 11 am. Interment will be in
Saint-Ignace. In memory of Trefflé, a contribution to the
N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Friends of The Moncton
Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
