Majella Landry, 75, of Shediac and formerly of Trois-Ruisseaux, passed away on Friday April 26, 2024 at the Villa Providence. Born in Trois-Ruisseaux, she was the daughter of the late Adrice and Rita (Cormier) Bourque.
Prior to her retirement, Majella worked at Leger Fisheries for many years.
She is survived by two sons: Rodrique (Linda) of Trois-Ruisseaux and Jason (Nathalie) of Shemogue; three sisters: Rosemai Nima (Lloyd) of St-André, Rosalita Melanson (late Maurice) of Shediac, and Janita Doiron of Cap-Pelé; two granddaughters: Janelle and Joanie, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ovila (2001) and one brother, Normand Bourque.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Wednesday May 1st from 9:30 am to 10:15 am. The funeral will be celebrated at the Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R. C. Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé at 10:30 am. Internment in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Majella, a contribution to the Knights of Colombus Cap-Pelé Lunchbox would be appreciated.
