Joyce Melanson, 69, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday April 23, 2024 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret (Steeves) Melanson.

She is survived by her special friend, Jimmy Gaudet; two children: Jamie Melanson and Jessica Melanson; four grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters: Gladys, Jean and Florence; and three brothers: Henry, Allen and Edward.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Monday April 29 at 3 pm. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 pm until time of funeral. In memory of Joyce, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
