It is with deep sadness that the family of Freda Louise Lavoie, 74, of Moncton, announces her passing after a short illness on Thursday April 18, 2024 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Léandre and Freda (Lewis) Lavoie.

She is survived by two brothers: Larry (Vickie) and Terry (Cheryl); one brother-in-law, Raymond Allain; eight nieces and nephews: Stuart, Marcia, Sara, Trisha, Amy, Michelle, Jonathan, and Nicole; five great-nieces and great nephews: Madison, Abygail, Katelyn, Evan, and Olivier; and one great-great-nephew, Izayah; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Linda Monette (Myles) and Faye Allain.

A funeral service will be celebrated at a later date. In memory of Louise, a contribution to the Food Depot Alimentaire would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900).
