Marguerite Bourque, 82, of Moncton and formerly of Portage passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Ocean Hall Foyer, on Monday, March 11, 2024. Born in Saint-André-Leblanc, she was the daughter of the late Dosithée and Annie (Bourque) Richard.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Clarence; a daughter Patricia Bourque-Chevarie (Donald) of Shediac; a son, Roland (Gwen Geldart) of Shediac; two sisters: Antoinette Doiron (Normand) of Cap-Pelé and Juliette Richard of Moncton; three grandchildren: Jonathan (Dani), Stéphanie (Tyler), and Pierre; a great-grandson, Isaac, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Alfred "Freddie".

Marguerite was a special mother, an extraordinary grandmother and a precious great-grandmother. She was an avid card and radio bingo player. Traveling was one of her favorite pastimes. She loved spending winters in the sun in Florida with her husband.

Marguerite's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Foyer Ocean Hall for their exceptional care. You gave Marguerite a place where she felt at home and that she loved and where she was loved.
