Ulysse Cormier, 90, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 17, 2024 surrounded by family at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Cocagne, he was the son of the late Pius and Eva (Landry) Cormier.

Prior to retirement, Ulysse was a talented self-employed carpenter who created many heirloom pieces that will continue to be cherished for many years to come by both family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Donalda (LeBlanc); one beloved daughter, Jacqueline "Jackie" Victor and cherished son-in-law, Carl; two adored grandchildren: Danielle (Réjean) and Alec (Amélie); one dear sister, Ethel Maillet (Oscar); one brother-in-law, Ulysse Gaudet; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three infant sons and three sisters: Rachelle, Juliette, and Alphonsine.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday March 15 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Friday March 15 from 9:30 am until time of funeral. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe.
