With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Anne Cormier, 81, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Born in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Nazaire and Marie (Vautour) Cormier.

She will be forever loved by her husband Edouard, her son Danny, her daughter-in-law Sharlene and her granddaughter Mélanie. She will also be missed by her siblings: brother Ola Cormier (Thérèse), sister Rosella Cormier (Yvon), brother Neil Cormier (Denise) and brother Abel Cormier (Rita), her sister-in-law Marie-Paule Cormier.

She was predeceased by her parents: Nazaire and Marie Cormier, her brother Donald and two sons: Roland and Guy.

In her early years, she worked at the Shediac Cape School. She was a great cook, loved to sew and enjoyed socializing with family and friends. She loved the days that she could travel with Ed to the States.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Tuesday, February 20 from 9:30 am to 10:45 am. The chapel service will be held at 11 am.

In memory of Marie-Anne, a contribution to the Vestiaire St-Joseph or to the Courage Centre of Beauséjour Family Crisis and Resources would be appreciated.
