Normand Albert Arsenault, 60, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Maurice and Dorca (Gallant) Arsenault.

He was employed by Vipond for many years as a shop fabrication labourer. Normand loved to play guitar and spend time with his family and friends. He was a sports fanatic who truly enjoyed watching hockey, baseball, and football. Precious memories were made when his friends came over to his home to watch sports.

He is survived by his special friend, Jeanette Langille; five siblings: Edgar (Linda) of Montréal, QC, Donald "Boubou" of Adamsville, Paul (Patty) and Diane LeBlanc (Charles) both of Moncton, and Yvette Arsenault (Alan Comeau) of Scoudouc; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Jean Russell (Chris).

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 10, at 2 p.m. Visiting hours are Saturday from 12 p.m. (noon) until the time of the funeral. Interment will be in Adamsville. In memory of Normand, a contribution to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (oncology) would be greatly appreciated.
