Camille Gallant, 63, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Friday January 26, 2024 at his residence. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Robert and Sarah (Fougère) Gallant.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Shaina) of Cap-Pelé; special friend of 7 years, Trudy Carson; stepson, Mario Girouard of Bouctouche; seven sisters: Gertrude Fougère of Vancouver, BC, Lilianne Cormier (late Jean) of Grand-Barachois, Elizabeth Boucher (Yvon) of Shediac, Stella Cormier (Gérard) and Diane Cormier (Roméo) all of Cap-Pelé, Lucille Landry (Paul) of Scoudouc, and Nancy Léger (late Rhéal) of Cormier-Village; two brothers: Regis (Cindy) of Dieppe and Alyre (Gloria) of Shediac, nieces, nephews, and by his special dogs Abby and Maya..
He was predeceased by his wife: Shirley Ann, two brothers: Léo-Paul and Gerry; two infant sisters: Stella and Annie.
There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be celebrated at St-Henri de Barachois R.C. Church, 1356 route 133, Grand-Barachois on Thursday February 1st at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the St-Henri de Barachois cemetery in Grand-Barachois.
