Yvette Cormier, 84,
passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 17,
2024, at the Villa Providence Shediac. Born in Petit-Cap, she was the
daughter of the late Adolphe and Mathilde (Richard)
Léger.
She is survived by her
four children: Pauline LeBlanc (Olando) of Cap-Pelé, Ronald
of Dieppe, Danny (Nancy) of Acadieville and Nathalie Cormier
(Émile) of Bas-Cap-Pelé; her brothers and
sisters: Alban (Denise) of Petit-Cap, Donald (Fern) of Lakeville, Joe
(Linda) of Shediac, Yvonne Cormier and Colestie Després all
of Petit-Cap; five grandchildren: Jennifer Vanderkloet (Doug), Andy
(René-Pierre), Justin (Itzel),
Jérémie (Renée) and Shawn Douglas;
five great grandchildren: Keegan, Tyler, Emily, Logan and
Kaitlyn.
She was predeceased by
her parents, her husband Dismas (2021), one brother Tiboy; four
sisters: Délia Cormier, Anita
Léger, Léona LeBlanc, and Marguerite
Cormier.
The family will
receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642
Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Monday, January 22 from 9:30 am to
10:45 am. The funeral will be celebrated at the
Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R. C. Church at
11:00 am.
In memory of Yvette, a
contribution to the Alzheimer Society would be
appreciated.
