Flossie Hébert, 86, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday January 16, 2024 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Forks Stream, NB, she was the daughter of the late Nase and Cora (Keirstead) Corey.

Prior to her retirement, Flossie worked at Sears as a cosmetician for 22 years. She was a member of the Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus parish. Being a seamstress, Flossie also enjoyed knitting and cross-stitching. She was a fan of curling and loved wrestling.

She is survived by one daughter, Kim Hébert (Paul Breau) of Dieppe; one son, Carl (Marg Arsenault) of Québec, QC; three grandchildren: Kristine, Brian, and Christopher; four great-grandchildren: Samuel, Sara, Laurence, and Juliette; one sister, Lois Moss (Stan) of Havelock; two sisters-in-law: Carlotta Corey of Petitcodiac and Helen Corey of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edgar "Fabby" (2007); and six brothers: Marion (Shirley), Earl (Dorothy), Mac (Patricia), Warren (Marguerite), Willis, and Fred.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday February 3 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Friday February 2 from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday February 3 from 10 am until time of funeral. The funeral service will be live streamed; to view the funeral, go to Flossie’s obituary on the Frenette Website. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Flossie, a contribution to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated.
