Edmée Robichaud LeBlanc passed away on Sunday January 14, 2024 at the Résidence Le P’tit Chez-Nous in Grande-Digue. She was 103 years old. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Thadée and Osithe (Richard) Donelle.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law: Germaine Donelle of Richibucto and France DeFrancesne of Ontario; special friends, Thadée and Jeanne LeBlanc of Cap-Pelé, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Hervé Robichaud; her second husband, Tilmon LeBlanc; 9 sisters: Julia Lemue, Edith Gallant, Margaret Girouard, Rita McLeon, Jean Gould, Therese LeBlanc, Lorianne Donelle, Marie Donelle, and Dora Landry; eight brothers: Joseph, Léo, William "Willie", Norman, Alfred, Thomas, Edmond, and Arthur.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R.C. Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Thursday January 18 at 2 pm. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be in the Sacré-Coeur cemetery in Haute-Aboujagane. 

In memory of Edmée, a contribution to the Cap-Pelé Lunchbox would be appreciated.
