Henry McGraw, 92, of St-Antoine and formerly of Moncton,
passed away on Wednesday January 3, 2024 at the Foyer St-Antoine. Born
in MacDougall Settlement, he was the son of the late Placide and
Philomène (LeBlanc) McGraw.
Prior to his retirement, Henry worked at CN as a tinsman. He
was a 3rd degree member of the Sunny Brae Knights of Columbus
– Council 1310, also parishioner of St-Louis-de-France
Church where he also volunteered many hours. He also loved to make
wood carving and spend time with his wife at GM
Antiques.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Géraldine
(Richard); five children: Lisette Belmont (Jean) of Moncton, Fernand
of Dieppe, Monique Hutchison of Moncton, Richard (Angela) of Dieppe,
and Luc (Cécile) of Cocagne; two grandchildren: Robin and
Jason; one great-grandson, Zachary; one sister, Maria Jacques of
Fredericton; one brother, Alfred McGraw (Phyllis) of MacDougall
Settlement; as well as his nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three siblings:
Gérald, Doris, and Noël.
The family will receive condolences at Saint-Antoine
l’Ermite R.C. Church, 24, avenue de
l’Église, Saint-Antoine, where the funeral mass
will be celebrated on Friday January 5 at 4 pm. Visiting hours are
Friday from 2 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be in the
parish cemetery. In memory of Henry, a contribution to the Foyer
St-Antoine would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the
