Gérald Gallant, 68, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Maurice and Geneva (Gautreau) Gallant.

He is survived by two sons: Jeffrey Arsenault (Jolaine Savoie) and Timmy Arsenault; a daughter, Charline Arsenault (Krista Gould); two granddaughters: Ève Arsenault and Alexanne Arsenault; three brothers: Charles Gallant, Paul-Émile Gallant, and Michel Gallant; six sisters: Camilla Gallant, Annette Gallant, Jeanne Gallant, Phyllis Gallant (Bernard Fougère), Yolande Gallant (John Miller), and Gisèle Gallant, as well as several nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by a sister, Dorice Gallant and two brothers: Clovis and Edgar.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac, on Monday, December 18 from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, December 19, from 9:45 am to 10:45 am. The chapel service will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac at 11 am.
