Agnes Gaudet, 97, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday December 13, 2023 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Tignish, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Buote) Gaudet.

Prior to her retirement, Agnes was a nurse’s aide at The Moncton Hospital.

She is survived by three daughters: Annette Dupuis (Roger) and Stella Kendall (Barry), both of Memramcook, Joanne Noel (Omer) of Moncton; one adoptive daughter, Rhéa Hewton (Ken) of Newcastle, ON; six grandchildren: Daniel, Charline, Shelley, Jason, Julie, and Nicole; nine great-grandchildren: Jacob, Kane, Jérémie, Emilie, Samuel, Jade, Marcel, Dominic, and Eva; three sisters: Cathy Miller (Ray) and Janet Gildart (Dave), both of Oakville, ON, and Louise Doucet (Larry) of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Camille (2007); one infant daughter, Dorice; three sisters: Edna, Edith, and Margaret; and seven brothers: Frank, Gerry, Fred, Phil, Edmund, and Peter, as well as an infant Benoit.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday December 15 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Friday from 10 am until time of funeral. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Agnes, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
